What is your favorite part about working at Midwest? *
I love the variety of cases we see and being a part of a supportive and collaborative team! You never know what the day will bring and it’s awesome working with people who share the same goal of providing excellent care for animals.
Why did you choose veterinary medicine as your career path?
For as long as I could remember, I’ve always wanted to be a veterinarian. There was never another option in the cards for me. I love both medicine and animals, and thankfully there’s a perfect career option that combines them!
If you could be any animal in the world, what would you be and why?
I would be some sort of migratory bird. I’ve recently started traveling and have instantly fallen in love with it. I would spend all my time flying and seeing this amazing world if I could.
Tell us about your family and pets!
I have a Chihuahua mix named Peach and a paint horse named Patti. Both have been through so much with me over these last few years. I’ve had Patti since I was in high school and she has moved around with me back and forth to school so many times. I adopted Peach during my second year of vet school. Both have been an escape from studying and a reason to keep pushing forward so I can provide the best care not only for my own animals, but others too.
