Kat Hall

Dr. Hall earned her Bachelor of Science in integrative biology in 2009 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 from the University of Illinois.

What kinds of pets do you have at home?
I have 7 cats (2 sphynx, 1 medium hair, and 4 short hairs), a mini Schnauzer, a Chinese crested, a Xoloitzcuintli, a mini Xolo, an antique Chihuahua, and a crested gecko. I would love to have a senior pet sanctuary and horses someday!

If you could be any animal in the world, what would it be?
I would be a spoiled housecat (with a nice porch!). Lots of time to nap in the sun, good snacks, attention when I want it, and no predators.

What do you love to do in your free time?
I love traveling, reading, walking my dogs, hiking, and cooking/baking – especially trying new recipes.

Why did you decide to be a vet?
I love diagnosing and treating our pets’ medical conditions and providing a lifetime of wellness care for important family members. I love that we can provide a wide variety of services to our companions and that each day offers new opportunities and challenges.
