What is one piece of advice you would give pet owners?
I would strongly recommend insurance. Pet insurance provides peace of mind, knowing that if a pet becomes ill or injured, the necessary medical care won’t be prohibitively expensive. It can also encourage more proactive and preventive healthcare, as pet owners may be more inclined to seek veterinary care for their pets if they know they have insurance to cover it.

Why did you choose to become a vet?
I’ve always felt a strong passion for helping animals. I’ve also had a deep-seated aspiration to offer veterinary care to those who might otherwise struggle to afford it.

Tell us 3 fun facts about yourself.
I’m an award-winning grilled cheese chef, I was a varsity badminton player in high school, and my dad was an Olympic qualifier in skiing but decided not to go.

If you could be any animal, what would that be?
I would be a cat. I think cats are incredible animals. I want nothing more in the world than to sleep!
